Cultural experience makes the process easy, and they are very helpful with planning details beyond the tour. We traveled from the US and needed some suggestions about the best way to make that happen. They were happy to make an extra hotel reservation for us and arrange for airport transfers

As I said above, the logistics support was great and provided a relaxing environment where I could concentrate on the historical material, and not the logistics of traveling.

TCE provided a great experience at every level. Our accommodations were always nice. The food was top notch. I felt safe in every area that we stayed in, ate in, and visited. Our tour guide (Stephen) was attentive to our needs and constantly checked in on everyone. I noticed that whenever a tour member was unusually quiet or subdued, the tour manager would make a point of going over and speaking quietly to the individual to make sure they were ok.

Supported by Ian Coyne as Tour Manager who is very well organized and who continually plans ahead. Ahead of arriving in Aachen, Germany on Friday, July 3, Ian contacted the Hotel to make sure all of the arrangements were made.
While confirming the address of the hotel, he determined the actual address was different than scheduled. There were two hotels from the same chain and the booking was outside Aachen not inside the city as was scheduled.
He quickly made some quick changes in when a walking tour would start and all came off well.
